Easy Office Suite is developed and distributed by WunderApps GmbH. This notice explains, in plain English, what personal information we collect when you visit our websites or use the Easy Office Suite Windows application (together, the Service), why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you install or use the Service, you agree that your information will be handled as described here.

Quick summary

We collect only what we need to run Easy Office Suite, issue licences, process payments and make the product better.
The text, tables and other content of the documents you work on never leave your computer.
Our websites and the app record basic usage events with Google Analytics 4 so we can see which features and marketing campaigns work best.
Purchases made on our website are processed by LemonSqueezy LLC, while in-app purchases on the Microsoft Store use Microsoft’s payment system. In both cases, your card details never reach our servers.

1 Scope

This Policy covers:

the Easy Office Suite desktop application (Windows/MSIX, including the version distributed via Microsoft Store), and
the website easyofficesuite.com, including any purchase or support pages hosted there. It does not apply to third-party sites or services we simply link to.

2 Data we collect

Below, we provide typical examples of data collected by category:

Account, purchase & billing
Typical items include your name, email address, postal or billing address, VAT ID (if applicable), payment token, and IP address at checkout.

Licence & activation
Typical items include your licence key, a hashed identifier tied to your device, and activation timestamps.

Usage & performance
Typical items include page views, download clicks, successful app installations, paywall views, completed purchases, and crash reports (including stack traces, OS version, and app version).

Cookies & online identifiers
Typical items include Google Analytics cookies, cookie consent preferences, and Google Ads click-ID (gclid).

Support-related data
Typical items include any information you voluntarily provide when you contact support, such as email content or attachments. |

Important: We do not upload your Office documents or view their content.

Crash diagnostics: Stack traces may incidentally include file paths or user names; we actively scrub any personal identifiers before the report leaves your device.
Children: If we discover that personal data of a child under 16 has been collected, we will delete it. Parents or guardians can contact us at info@wunderapps.io.

3 Why we use your data

We use the collected data to:

Run the Service – deliver core features, activate licences and keep the software secure.
Process payments – issue invoices, validate subscriptions or lifetime upgrades and comply with tax rules.
Prevent fraud & abuse – detect suspicious activations or charge-backs.
Understand and improve – see which pages, ads and app features people use so we can focus on what matters.
Provide support – respond to your questions and fix bugs.
Stay in touch – send occasional product or marketing emails if you choose to receive them.

Our legal bases under the GDPR are: performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in operating and improving Easy Office Suite, your explicit consent (for marketing emails and optional cookies) which you may withdraw at any time, and compliance with legal obligations (e.g. tax law).

4 Cookies & analytics

A consent banner powered by Cookiebot appears the first time you visit our sites. Only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work are loaded before you make a choice. Any optional cookies used for advertising or remarketing are shown as “Marketing” in the banner.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to measure traffic and advertising effectiveness.

In-app analytics

Easy Office Suite records anonymous usage events (for example, a successful installation or a feature being opened). These events are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving core functionality.

We share personal data only with trusted partners who help us operate Easy Office Suite. They act under written data-processing agreements and may process information solely on our instructions:

We do not sell or rent your information.

6 International transfers

Some providers listed above are based in the United States. When data leaves the European Economic Area we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses together with technical measures such as encryption in transit.

7 How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as it is reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes described above and to meet legal or accounting requirements. After that, it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

8 Your privacy rights

You can, at any time:

access the personal data we hold about you,
have inaccurate data corrected,
have data deleted or restricted,
object to certain processing,
withdraw consent you have given, and
receive your data in a portable format.

9 Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
